Looky Here!

Found this beauty in my garden today. Still wondering what species it is. As soon as I positioned the camera to take the shot, it froze in its tracks. Good thing eh?

I love how it has these colourful tufts of bristles in clumps here and there on its body. If you look carefully you can see minute drops of moisture on the ends of the hairs. These sparkled in the evening sun.

After a few minutes ogling, I let it resume its business of defoliating the plant. See you tomorrow little guy!

Not a very good macro shot though, couldnt focus and the ligting was kind of poor. I am still trying to find out what species it is.

My Camera is a Nikon D3000, just started tinkering with it. My earlier posts about my jaunt in KLCC all had photos I took using this camera.

Heya Sydneysider Kitty,

You've never met a caterpillar? Careful if you do, those feathery bristles will itch your nose mightily for inquisitive kitties like you.

Hi Yah,

Yup ulat bulu, but I still dont have no idea what species it is.

Salam Gee,

I found a dead caterpillar in my garden the other day. It took me awhile to realise that that was the equivalent to a child.

Is it easier to kill larvae and caterpillars than kittens and puppies because they're not as cute?

Still don't know the answer.

Niya Nadz,

You have a good heart and head on you. It certainly doesnt make it any easier to kill em. Not for me at least. Life and nature is already fraught with its own set of trials and tribulations without us humans having to add to it.

But I draw the line at Cockroaches though. Them I cant stand! Nevermind they have outexisted the dinosaurs, and somewhat radiation resistant, them too fugly and gross.

Salam Gee,

I agree! Cockroaches have ruled this planet for far too long. But then, if we're smart, we'll start dissecting their DNA and incorporate them into our descendants to make them hardier. That's a thought.

Just as long as we dont acquire the ability to survive on dead kin. Can you imagine?

A: Hi Nadz, what you eating there?
B: Hi Raz, oh I'm munching on my
brother's toes...
A: Oh... Can I have some?

Ewwww.

Salam Gee,

B: Oh, you don't want the toes. It's only a couple of days old. Let it ripen first.

A: 'Kay. I'll just keep myself busy with this medulla oblongata until then.

Salam persilatan,
